The Importance of Being Earnest

The Importance of Being Earnest - Oscar Wilde This is a send-up of Victorian manners that employs the same sort of over-the-top goofiness you see in Monty Python flicks. Very effective use of repetition to comic effect, especially with the muffin-stuffing scene and the Bunburyism. Are we not all Bunburyists to varying degrees? Oscar Wilde was just too clever by half. I'd read this again for sure.
