Gore has pulled together in one book a lot of research and compelling information from many different resources with regard to what has been done to the planet and how it might affect our future. I think his use of mostly graphics and photos was a good idea, to give people a visual reference rather than just words on a page. One of the things I liked best about this book is that Gore's attitude is, "It's not too late to change things if we all work together." Whether he's a Pollyanna Sunshine or not I don't know, but I appreciate his hopefulness. I sometimes get into the "too late now, why bother" mindset, but he motivated me to at least try harder to do more of my part in small ways.
